Demand shortfall found in vehicle wireless connection

Source: Motor Age

MyProductAdvisor.com has reported that the expected surge in shopper preference for wireless connectivity in new autos is not occurring. Over the last 8 months, shopper preference for wireless connectivity has continued to lag well behind more traditional convenience features like sunroof and navigation aid, the company adds.

“The trends we interpret are derived from the preferences of real, in-market shoppers”, says Rich Falcone, president of MyProductAdvisor.com. “Our next generation platform uncovers meaningful intelligence, which in this case, is an early warning sign for manufacturers and dealers alike. It allows us to identify trends, and more importantly predict shifts in consumer sentiment.”
