Hot on the heels of its July debut, the Bridgestone Dueler A/T Revo 2 is now available in 27 sizes, covering 15- to 20-inch rim diameters.

The new tire “serves both the highway driver and those who want to explore rougher terrain,” reports Phil Pacsi, Bridgestone’s vice president of consumer marketing for the U.S. and Canada.

“The enhancements in the new tire combine to make ‘one tire for all worlds,’ that is quiet, comfortable and durable, both on the road and off,” Pacsi says.

“Building upon the reputation and contemporary styling” of the original Revo, the Revo 2 edition “has been enhanced with cutting-edge technology by offering improved wet traction and rolling resistance.”

The passenger car sizes of the Revo 2 feature a Dual Layer Tread, while the light truck models contain the company’s DuraTech tread compound to resist chipping and tearing when used under demanding conditions, according to Pacsi.

Other improvements include reduced road noise, made possible through optimizing the tire’s tread design, plus increased biting edges and other technology features designed to maintain snow and off-road performance, he says.

The second generation Revo “was developed in response to consumer demand for an all-terrain product that meets the needs of modern trucks, SUVs and CUVs," Pasci points out. “With its new sidewall design and evolved tread pattern, the Dueler A/T Revo 2 is the most versatile and aggressive tire in the Bridgestone light truck/SUV line-up. The tire’s revolutionary tread design provides outstanding performance in a wide variety of driving conditions.”
