To achieve ASE certification, OTC's automotive training program was evaluated by the National Automotive Technicians Education Foundation (NATEF) to meet nationally accepted standards in instruction, facilities and equipment. In addition, OTC's automotive program is master certified in Automatic Transmission and Transaxle; Brakes; Electrical; Electronic Systems; Engine Performance; Engine Repair; Heating and Air Conditioning; Manual Drive Train and Axles, and Suspension and Steering. "We have worked closely with NATEF to make certain that our program meets strict industry standards and we are delighted to join the ranks of ASE certified training programs," says Bill Woessner, director of automotive, Ohio Technical College. This certification gives students added insurance that they will be employable, in-demand technicians upon graduation."
