Charlie Fewell will bring his message of developing your business to the Automotive Service Association (ASA) 2008 Annual Convention, delivering the keynote address.

ASA’s 2008 Annual Convention will be May 1-3 at the Hyatt Regency in Santa Clara, Calif.

Fewell, of Charlie Fewell & Associates, a training and consulting company, will deliver his presentation “Five Stepping Stones to Success” May 2 during the luncheon. He will reveal how the most productive people in life use the stepping stones of success to help them reach the goals they were meant to achieve.

Fewell has had a 30-year career in the automotive aftermarket as a technical trainer, customer service manager, training manager and business management trainer. He was associated with General Motors Corp. for 24 years. Fewell, an Automotive Management Institute (AMI) instructor, has written many articles for the automotive industry and received awards for his contributions to the industry.

The annual convention agenda will also include the ASA board of directors meeting; a State of the Association address by Ron Pyle, ASA president and chief staff executive; an affiliate assembly meeting; a mechanical and collision division parts forum; two AMI-approved courses; and ASA’s annual Celebration of Excellence awards ceremony, which will again host the Automotive Management Institute graduation ceremony. An optional tour of Winchester Mansion is also available.

Online registration is now open at www.ASAshop.org/Annual08. Members who register before the early-bird deadline of March 27 will receive savings. Attendees may use the secure online form to register for management seminars and housing accommodations. The Web site also outlines the full convention agenda, lists convention sponsors, and has additional details about networking functions and the optional tour.
