Griffin Fast Lube expands in Colorado

Source: Motor Age

Jiffy Lube® franchisee Griffin Fast Lube has acquired 23 Jiffy Lube service centers in Colorado, including locations in the Denver and Colorado Springs markets. In addition to the 27 Jiffy Lube service centers the company owns in Utah and northern Nevada, Griffin Fast Lube now operates a total of 50 stores, making the entity one of the largest Jiffy Lube franchises in the country.

“We are thrilled to announce this expansion, particularly given today’s difficult economic climate. The Jiffy Lube service centers owned by Griffin Fast Lube have always prided themselves on providing exceptional customer service at each and every location. We believe this commitment has resonated well with consumers, even during the economic downturn, and we will continue to focus on superior service in Colorado,” says David Griffin, owner of Griffin Fast Lube. “No matter what challenges the future brings, drivers will continue to require vehicle maintenance. We look forward to providing quality and innovative services to our customers for many years to come.”

The family-run company is based in Ogden, Utah, where it owns the very first Jiffy Lube service center that was opened in 1979. Griffin Fast Lube has experienced exceptional growth over the past two and a half years. For example, a Griffin Fast Lube store operated in Reno, Nev. has seen a 40 percent increase in sales in 2009, but even more significantly, the store has enjoyed a 40 percent increase in customers.

In addition to David Griffin, his wife Joye and their three sons each play a vital role in the company’s management. Joye Griffin credits a commitment to quality and customer service, along with hard work and a strong family business model, as key factors in their recent success.

“We have made a commitment to Jiffy Lube International, as well as to our family, that our focus with Griffin Fast Lube will continue to be providing a quality customer experience to each individual who visits one of our stores throughout the western U.S. region,” states Joye Griffin, owner. “As our family business continues to grow, we will continue to focus on the value proposition that has always worked for us: hard work, valuing our employees, providing quality products and a hassle-free customer experience, and being strong corporate citizens within our communities.”

To celebrate their entry into the Colorado marketplace, Griffin Fast Lube will offer customer appreciation promotions at its Colorado stores in the coming months. For additional details regarding the Colorado expansion of Griffin Fast Lube, contact D.J. Griffin at 801-541-2762 or dj@ggglow.com.
