Serving drivers throughout North Carolina’s Research Triangle region with a sharp top-to-bottom focus on providing standout customer convenience combined with a strong Internet presence, Atlantic Tire & Service has opened a new store in Raleigh.

“We are committed to providing the best auto service in the area,” says owner Anthony Blackman.

“Even in a down economy, we’ve been blessed with the success of our two existing locations, which is only possible through the loyalty and support of our customers,” he explains. “This third location will help us extend our customer base and hire even more highly qualified service professionals.”

The current employee roster consists of Tire Industry Association (TIA) certified tire specialists along with ASE certified master technicians, according to Blackman. “This certification pushes each staff member to achieve excellence.”

Since its founding in 1998, Atlantic has garnered numerous industry and community honors. In September Blackman received the Cary Chamber of Commerce Business Leader of the Year Award.

Previous accolades include the Blue Seal of Excellence Award, the Cary Chamber’s Employer of the Year Award, the Morrisville Chamber’s Business of the Year Award, and the Best Mechanic Maggy Award from Cary Magazine.

The chain carries Michelin, Goodyear, Firestone, Bridgestone, Uniroyal and BFGoodrich tires.

Other offerings include oil changes, tire rotation and balancing, computerized wheel alignment, disc and drum brake service, air conditioning service, flat tire repairs, routine maintenance and tune-ups, radiator service, nitrogen tire inflation and state inspections.

Atlantic’s customer-friendly attributes include online appointment scheduling on a well-designed Internet site with coupons, same-day car repairs, a free shuttle service and free pickup and delivery.

The company also hosts a Facebook page and Twitter account, and it uses an online press release service to garner media publicity about its ongoing business developments.

A Mobile Division specializes in providing commercial accounts with timely on-site mechanical repairs and tire service. “Fleet managers face a lot of pressure keeping vehicles on the road at all times,” says Blackman, noting that the compatible goals of both parties are “to keep your vehicles on the road with as little down time as possible.”

Atlantic began serving Cary, N.C. and the surrounding area 17 years ago in December of 1998. Seven years later, in 2005, it added an additional location in Durham.

“Because of a commitment to providing customers with quality vehicle maintenance and tire installation, Atlantic Tire & Service has grown to be a respected business in the community,” Blackman points out. “It has built its reputation on providing customers with speedy but reliable repairs.”
