At age 16, Patrick Walton was pumping gas as the Arco Service Center. That station later became his business, which 35 years later, is still operating as Camarillo Car Care Center. The center now has 13 bays and is working on becoming more environmentally “green.”

Camarillo offers series of clinics on car care maintenance geared mainly to women, where they teach about preventive maintenance, proper driving and handling, fuel economy and more. The center also is in the process of becoming a certified child car seat installer, a service it will provide free to customers, and is active in the AAA’s Back to School Safety Campaign.

Other customer service offerings from Camarillo include a Web site with tools like a fuel economy calculator and appointment scheduler. The facility boasts multiple ASE-certified techs as a Blue Seal shop, and also is AAA approved.
