Log on and vote for ASA Board of Directors

Source: Motor Age

Elections for the 2010 Automotive Service Association (ASA) national board of directors are being held now through Feb. 28.

There are three candidates seeking election this year for two board positions. Running for general director are William E. “Eddie” Ehlert of MazdOnly Ltd. in Chamblee, Ga.; and Robert M. “Bob” Wills, AAM, of Wills Auto Service in Battle Creek, Mich.

Running for mechanical division director is William P. “Bill” Moss, AAM, of Ferris Automotive Inc. in Warrenton, Va.

All regular members in good standing with ASA are eligible to cast their vote for the general director position. The mechanical division director is elected by ASA’s mechanical division members. (An ASA member is assigned to the appropriate division based on information provided by the member when he or she joins ASA.)

Casting a vote is done by calling a toll-free telephone number or visiting a secure voting site accessed from ASA’s Web site. Whether voting by phone or via the Internet, ASA members will need their member number plus a three-digit personal identification number to vote.

The voting line is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Candidate bios and audio campaign messages are also available by visiting www.ASAshop.org.
